8th Annual Alden Classic Sports Car Show

The show was held August 12th at the park in Alden. Over 70 cars were on display for all to enjoy.
The day started out with heavy thunderstorms but cleared by 10 o’clock and turned into a “tops-down” day.
MG was the featured marque with many fine examples of As, Bs and Ts. We also had American, German, Italian and Japanese sports cars. Participants came from several states and Canada.
“Best of show” was Kevin Brinkerhoff’s 64 Austin Healey 3000.
The Alden Classic Sports Car Show is always on the 2nd Sunday in August, next year it will be held on 8-10-2008.
